YouTube Comment Moderation Tool

This application is a private automation tool used by Dr. Francisco J. Esteva to manage comments on his YouTube channels.

 

The tool connects to the YouTube Data API to read comments, reply to comments, and remove comments on videos published on Dr. Esteva’s channels.

 

Purpose of the Application

​

The purpose of this tool is to assist with moderation of comments on educational YouTube content related to cancer treatment and cancer research. The automation helps identify spam, abusive comments, misinformation, and unsafe medical claims so they can be reviewed and moderated.

 

Google Data Access

This application uses the YouTube Data API permission:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl

 

This permission allows the application to:

• read comments on videos owned by Dr. Esteva’s channels
• reply to comments
• remove comments that violate moderation policies

 

The application does not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, or other Google services.

Who Uses This Application

 

This application is used exclusively by Dr. Francisco J. Esteva to manage comments on his own YouTube channels. It is not a public application.

 

Data Usage

Comment data retrieved through the YouTube API may be processed temporarily by moderation workflows. No Google user data is sold or shared with third parties.
